Dive into the water, and feel the color deep in your soul. Return to a time when magic was alive and anything was possible. This place along the Mill River in Northampton, MA has had my heart since 2004. I return to it year after year both with my dog and with my brush. There is a tree in the foreground, that you can not see in the painting, that drops red leaves on the ground and on the water, creating a magical place where the ground moves with color. I am smitten with this place, and I may paint it for the rest of my life! Every time I return to this subject, I find myself in a new way as an artist. I hope it brings joy and magic into your life as well!
