Gateway to Joy
Gateway to Joy
Years ago, filled with curiosity and accompanied by my loyal dog, Potter, I embarked on a quest to discover the elusive "lost waterfall." During my college days, I had once stumbled upon this majestic waterfall while seeking inspiration for my paintings. However, in the passage of time, the exact location had slipped from my memory. Determined to reconnect with this hidden gem, Potter and I ventured forth in search of it.
As fate would have it, our journey led us to the right forest, but alas, we failed to find the precise entrance that would lead us to the cherished waterfall. However, unforeseen wonders unfolded before our eyes that day, transforming disappointment into pure magic. At the threshold of the trail, stood these magnificent trees, promising an enchanting hike filled with extraordinary moments.
In that instant, I knew that despite not reaching the waterfall that day, the journey itself was a testament to the wonders of the natural world and the power of exploration. It was a reminder of the unpredictable beauty that surrounds us, waiting to be discovered.

FRAMING OPTIONS
There are three options when purchasing my pastels. Since shipping pastels with glass is not feasible, I offer three options for purchase. Option 1, is unframed. Option 2 is with a frame, mat and no glass. If you choose this option, you will just have to take the piece and frame to any local framer near you to have the glass installed. Your piece will be packed with great care, wrapped in acid free glassine paper, bubble wrap, and a custom made box so that it will not shift around in transit. Option 3 is to pick it up in my Holyoke studio with a frame, mat, and glass. I offer either cherry or maple for frames and I use an off white acid free mat. Because I offer three options for framing, the website thinks I have three of them, but there is only one. As soon as a piece sells, I go back in and put the other quantities to zero.
